​It is a great honor to serve at the Altar of our Lord, which is why altar servers are selected from those who show a genuine desire to grow closer to Jesus Christ. Just as He was present at the Last Supper and on Calvary, our loving Savior becomes present on the altar during the Mass. Therefore, altar servers carry the solemn responsibility of fulfilling their duties with reverence and dignity. Their role is to assist the clergy during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.


Our parish welcomes both boys and girls as altar servers, starting after they have received their First Holy Communion, with the opportunity to continue serving as long as they wish. Adults (both men and women) who are in full communion with the Catholic Church are also encouraged to serve. Being in such close proximity to the Eucharist during Mass and participating in the liturgy fosters a deep respect for the sacredness and awe of the ritual.
